CDL Driver Drug & Alcohol Policy TrainingCourse Description
This course provides DOT drug and alcohol policy education for CDL drivers in accordance with
49 CFR §382.601.
Drivers will learn what conduct is prohibited under federal law, when DOT testing applies, what
constitutes a refusal, how the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse can impact their career, and the
potential consequences of violations.
This training is designed to ensure drivers understand their responsibilities and obligations while
performing safety-sensitive functions.
This course does not cover all FMCSA regulations and does not replace employer-specific policies or legal advice.
